First Light

I believe that this tiny lake(Peppers Lake) west of Caroline Alberta on the Forestry trunk road, is probably my favorite lake in Alberta. The campground is on a shelf over looking the lake, and at night the haunting call of the Common Loon echoes across the water. This area of Alberta is visited mostly be locals and that is to bad. The area has much to offer. North up the Forestry Trunk Road 10km is Ram River Falls. They are spectacular and appear on Alberta calenders on a regular interval. The fly fishing(catch & release) on the upper reachs of the Ram River(above the falls) is to die for. There is a campground at the falls.
