Fire Scape

I shot this photo in the Marble Canyon area of Kootenay National Park, while making my way down highway 93 to Radium Hot Springs. The area was hit by a major forest fire in 2003, and there is hope accessibility to the last few trails that were still closed in 2005, will be resolved for the comming 2006 summer season. I find the areas of major forest fires intriguing as you'll see signs of a burst of life as the burned areas " green up ".
