In Your Face

In my last post, after I shot the photo of the Bighorn Ram, I continued down the Smith Dorren, to Kananaskis Lakes. I made my way to the parking lot that is situated between the Upper & Lower Kananaskis Lakes. I grabbed my daypack and camera and made my way down the trail that if it had been summmer, I would have been anxious to try the fishing at Rawson Lake. This high altitude lake is in a hanging valley on the south side of the Upper Lake. However this will be a topic for another day. I had travelled a few hundred yards, when I suprised this porcupine who was not impressed with my ( in your face) got to get his photo tactics. Before long, we both went our seperate ways. I headed back to my truck, as the going was tough without snowshoes.
