Backcountry Cabin

While making my way down a backcountry trail in Kananaskis Country, I came upon this cabin and barn that have stood the ravages of time. They would have been built in the 1930s and used for a stopover for the forest ranger patrol. In the closeup of the barn you see more Buffaloberries which are everywhere and had me looking over my shoulder for bears feeding on these berries.
