The Spectacular Opals

I made my way out into Kananaskis Country planning on a day of fly fishing on several creeks that I had in mind. On the road I found myself making frequent stops for a photo shoot because of the spectacular vistas that abound. I could not help but notice the amazing berry crop that has caused many trails to be closed due to bears feeding on these Buffaloberries that are everywhere. At one stop this Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep tried to get into my truck with me. I suspect someone has been feeding them. Oh-put your rock hammer away, as geologists many years ago discovered there's definitely no opal deposits in these hills.
