Highway 541

This past weekend found me on Highway 541 that connects Highway 22 at Longview to Highway 40 in Kananaskis Country. If there is a nicer drive in the Province of Alberta, Highway 541 rates right up there with it.This drive is not to be missed when in the Calgary area. Some of the most historic ranches in Alberta, are found along this stretch of road. Clint Eastwood made the movie "Unforgiven" in this area. If you wait to long, you will have to do it next year as Highway 40 over the Highwood Pass is closed over the winter.
