Fort Calgary

Early morning found me making my way west, along the banks of the Bow River just west of Crowchild Trail. I noticed there was early morning fog on the river and pulled over to capture this photo. The second photo is the suspension bridge over The Bow River on St Patrick's Island, just to the west of Fort Calgary which includes a reconstructed 1875 fort. I was checking out the site that the fort is situated on when I noticed the bridge. Unless you are on the pathway with your bicycle, you may have never noticed this suspension bridge, as I don't believe it is visible from any roadway to any degree.
