The Cowboy Trail

I noticed this old wagon just out of Longview, as I travelled along The Cowboy Trail (Highway 22) that stretches from Mayerthorpe (northeast of Edmonton), and ends in Cardston just above the Montana Border. After pulling my truck off to the side of the road, I shot a number of photos of the wagon and these horses. If this wagon could talk,I am sure it would tell of small town rodeos, country fairs, and ranches where quarter horses still reign, as well as cattle that outnumber humans nearly two to one. The horses in this photo came up to the fence and watched as I shot photos.
