On the Road

As I struggled with the numbness in my fingers from the -24C temperatures, my camera perched on the bridge railing was threatening to end up in the Bow, I had to watch for vehicles approaching and threatening to put me into the frigid waters below. I have to say that I feel it was worth it as I enjoy this type of landscape photography involving water, and fog (steam) mixed in with silhouetted trees and lets not forget the Sun. From here I will continue south on various back-roads to the south, with hopes of capturing some mega-pixels of a Snowy Owl. The Snowy Owls are down from their Arctic homes for the winter and may be found throughout Southeastern Alberta perched on the ground or on fence-posts looking for their next meal.
