The Real Jurassic Park

This is Dinosaur country in Alberta, and the home of the T-Rex (for a earth shaking experience, click on T Rex in the links). I, of course am describing Dinosaur Provincial Park, a great chasm four hundred feet deep, cut by the Red Deer River into the heart of the prairie. Across from plain to plain, it is nearly 4 kilometers. In the main valley, are long ridges, tablelands, buttes and knolls, pinnacles and towers. All in all fantastic badland scenery ( Archives Nov/05 Cool Formations ). Plan on a few days if you visit. Fossils from Alberta's badlands are housed in museums around the world.
