UFO Sighting
Everyone has seen jets leaving trails in the sky. Maybe you wondered why. Jet fuel is a Hydrocarbon. When it burns it forms carbon dioxide and water vapor. The water vapors condense in the cold atmosphere and make a cloud, just like all the other clouds. The only difference is that they mark the pathway of the jet. I shot this photo earlier this morning, as this high flying jet tracked across the sky. It was just after dawn as the light broke free from the dark.
